Delhi Red Fort Blast: Pulwama Doctor Under Scanner, PM Modi Vows – “No One Behind This Attack Will Be Spared”

A powerful explosion near Delhi’s iconic Red Fort on Monday evening has shaken the nation. So far, 13 people have died, and several others are injured.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking from Bhutan, said, “Those behind this conspiracy will not be spared. Our agencies will uncover the truth.”

Government sources revealed that the person inside the car that exploded was likely Dr. Umar, a resident of Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. The car had reportedly changed multiple hands before reaching him.

Delhi Police have filed an FIR under the UAPA and Explosives Act, and at least four people have been detained for questioning. Raids are ongoing at several locations.

Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level security meeting with IB, NIA, Delhi Police Commissioner, and other top officials, directing a “thorough and multi-angle investigation.”

A nationwide high alert has been issued. Security has been tightened at airports, railway stations, bus terminals, and across the Delhi Metro network.
